An Interreg IIIB North Sea Program project in which seven regions, from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany carry out a wide range of activities - between May 2003 and April 2006 -  within four themes:

  • networks and linkages
  • spatial quality
  • economic cooperation and
  • regional/town-network identity.
    The projects main objective is to strengthen the participating regions as a whole by stimulating development of each town's stronger areas, encouraging greater cooperation between towns, cities and regions without competitive overlap and resulting in differentiation and complementation.
