EU Project on Equal pay - holds next meeting in Copenhagen on the 29th of November

The European Project on Equal Pay offers support and tools to organisations wishing to work towards equal pay.

The project will on the 29th of November spread facts in Denmark during a conference held in Copenhagen:

Equal Pay is value adding

  • The achievement of equal pay between women and men for equal work and work of equal value is crucial to creativity and performance.
  • A focus on equal pay has proven to be an investment for companies wishing to enchance performance and growth and to become employers of choice. Equal pay is not only profitable but also a human and legal right.

Although a growing number of companies have come to appreciate this, unexplained and unwarrented differences in pay between women and men stillk persist around Europe. Simple methods and tools are availeble to those of you who are ready and able to start working towards equal pay.

The conference is for public and private companies, social partners, governmental and European bodies and elected representatives. It is being organised by the European Project of Equal Pay and the BETSY Project (Benchmarking as a Tool for Realising Equal Pay) in cooperation with the Danish ministries of gender equality and employment.
