The Austrian telecom compmany Telekom Austria received the Amazone Award 2003 in a festive ceremony in Vienna's new main library The prize is initiated by the girls' advisory center 'Sprungbrett' and goes to companies for their excellence in promoting girls in apprenticeships in the technical area.Franz Nigl, Head of Human Resources at Telekom Austria emphasized when receiving the price 'I'm delighted that through its innovative dedication to the area of apprenticeship training, as well as for promotion and support of non-traditional employment choices for girls, Telekom Austria has been distinguished with the Amazone Award 2003' . |
